Thursday, March 23 is the APEX Fun Run! Last week, Captain Craig and his team came for the pep rally and introduced the kids to this year’s theme: LEGEND – Learn, Engage, Give, Empower, Never Quit, and Do. Each day since, students have been getting an important character lesson about what it takes to be a LEGENDary Leader. In addition to these lessons, Terrapins are learning about the importance of exercise. And, while doing all that, they’re raising money for the school!

If you haven’t already, please login to the APEX website (you’ll need to enter your child’s unique access code, which can be found on their lanyard), select your student’s shirt size and make a pledge. Last year, this event raised over $25,000 for Turtleback! And, with your support, this year we hope to raise even more to help fund a P.E. Shed, recess equipment, continued support of reading, science, and technology, and other school needs.
