On Thursday, October 2, the Turtleback Education Foundation hosted the second annual Technology Night. Plenty of parents were in attendance to see what their Terrapins can do with a tablet. Mrs. Auten kicked off the night by talking about her vision for technology at Turtleback and teachers were on hand to show how they’re using technology aids, like iPads, in their classrooms to enhance their lessons.
ESET, a global provider of high-performing security solutions, also sponsored a presentation on Internet safety as well as highlighted their special discount on antivirus software that directly benefits Turtleback students. Click here to find out more.
Technology Night was also the launch of the Foundation’s annual Pledge Drive. We raised nearly $2,000 in pledges and donations, a great start to the Pledge Drive, which lasts until November 26.
