Wondering what amazing art your student has created this year as part of the ART CORPS program? Come and find out by attending our second annual ART CORPS Art Show on May 18 from 5-7 p.m. in the MPR. Each Terrapin will have one work of art on display (all of their other masterpieces will be sent home at the end of the year).
Enjoy an evening that includes:
- Live Music
- Make and Take Art
- Presentations by 5th Grade Docents
- Silent Auction of Teacher Art
Based on the Famous Artist and eighth lesson of the year. All proceeds will help support the ART CORPS program for next year.
We are very grateful to the many parent volunteers who help make this program a reality each year and to the principal and teachers who welcome a new concept-based lesson each month into their classrooms.
All lessons help fulfill the State requirements. The program only costs $20 per child per year, so if you as a parent would like to help deliver the ART CORPS program to Turtleback next year, please consider giving a contribution, participate in this auction, or come and join our team of volunteers and teach art in the classroom after attending a monthly one-hour workshop led by ART CORPS’ wonderful guides and teachers. We look forward to seeing you!
